"There is no version 2" is a blanket and meaningless statement at best, damaging the expectations of aspiring PMs at worst. There is a version 2. It's your version 1 that sucks.
It is not fair to compare versions of full apps and versions of a particular feature. Version 2 might never come because you solved the core problem of the user an the appetite for going the extra mile is low in comparison to tackling another opportunity.
